My Beloved began with that feeling. There is the person you meet and forget, and there is the one whose presence changes the room. We wanted a different way to look at the second kind.
Why charts
Most dating apps read what people say about themselves, then let the fastest thumb decide. We read the sky you were born under instead. Your birth chart is a portrait taken at the moment you arrived, and when two charts are laid over each other they describe a relationship before it has happened: where the ease is, where the friction lives, what one of you draws out of the other.
So the number under a name on My Beloved is not a guess from a bio. It is computed from real placements, yours and theirs, and the queue you scroll is ordered by it. Chemistry still does what chemistry does. The chart gives you another way to understand it.
Love, or friends
Not everyone who is drawn to someone wants romance. You tell us what you are looking for, once, and it shapes everything: people looking for friendship meet only each other, and among the romantic answers the people who want the same thing rank higher for one another. Nobody has to explain themselves twice.
The five lenses
Western astrology, the tropical zodiac most of us grew up with, reads the aspects between two charts. Vedic astrology brings the sidereal zodiac and a matching tradition that is centuries old. Human Design maps how your energy meets another person's, down to the channels you complete in each other. Gene Keys follows the same gates into shadow, gift and the highest expression of each. Astrocartography draws where each planet's influence falls on the map, for you and for two of you together.
Each is a lens. None of them is a science, and we will never tell you otherwise. They are ways of paying attention: to yourself, to another person, to what happens between you. What you do with what you see is yours.
Who makes it
My Beloved is independent and founder-built. No investors telling us to grow at any cost, no data brokers, no engagement tricks. The product is the same thing we would want to use ourselves: a quiet, beautiful place to meet people, with a real reason for every introduction.
The line we hold
We do not promise you a match, a marriage, or a meaning. Astrology, Human Design and Gene Keys are lenses for reflection, not proof, and never a substitute for your own judgement or for professional advice. Your birth details are used to compute your charts and for nothing else. Your photos are cleaned of hidden data the moment you upload them. Your account is yours to pause or delete, in full, whenever you like.
