Delete your account
Your My Beloved account is yours to close, from the website or from the app, in a minute. Everything below is removed at once, and nothing is kept that could bring the profile back.
The steps
Sign in at mybeloved.app or open the app, go to Settings, and choose Delete my account at the bottom. You confirm with your password; if you would rather take a break, the same screen offers to pause your profile instead. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
What is removed
Your profile, charts, photos, matches, messages, the charts you kept for other people, your push registrations and your sign-in are removed from our live systems at once. We keep one anonymised record of the deletion (a hash of the email, your plan, how long you were a member and, if you gave one, the reason), and a report another member filed keeps the report itself. Encrypted backups are kept for up to 90 days and are never used to restore a deleted profile. The privacy policy has the whole picture.
A subscription
A Premium membership bought on the web is cancelled as part of deleting the account. One bought through Google Play or the App Store is cancelled in that store's subscription settings, before or after you delete: deleting the account does not stop the store from renewing it.
If you cannot sign in
Reset your password from the sign-in page. If the email address is no longer yours, write to us through the contact page from the address on the account, or with enough for us to be sure it is you, and we will delete it for you.
