Terms of service

Plain terms for a simple arrangement: you use My Beloved to meet people; we run it carefully and tell you the truth about what it is. By creating an account you agree to these terms, to the privacy policy and to the community guidelines.

1. Who may use My Beloved

You must be 18 or older, able to enter a binding agreement, and not barred from using a service like this under the laws that apply to you. You may hold one account, for yourself, with your own photos and your real birth details. We may suspend or close an account that does not meet these conditions.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us through the contact page if you think someone else has used it. You can pause your profile, change your details or delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent.

3. What we provide

My Beloved computes astrological, Human Design and Gene Keys charts from the birth details you give us, scores compatibility between charts, and introduces you to other members. These systems are lenses for reflection. They are not a science, not a prediction and not advice of any kind, and we make no promise that you will match with, meet, or form any relationship with anyone. Text generated for your charts and matches is produced by software from chart facts and first names; read it as an invitation to look, not as a statement about a person.

4. Membership and billing

The free plan is described on the pricing page. Premium is a monthly subscription at the price shown when you subscribe, charged at the start of each period through Stripe when bought on the web, or through the App Store or Google Play when bought in an app. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling ends your membership at the close of the period you have paid for; you keep Premium until then and are not charged again. Prices may change; we tell you before a change affects a renewal. Refunds for web purchases are considered case by case through the contact page; purchases in an app store follow that store's rules. Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought in an app store: cancel it there.

5. Your content

Your photos, prompts, bio and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store, resize and show them to other members as the service requires, and to nobody else. You confirm that you have the right to share what you upload and that it shows you. We may remove content that breaks the community guidelines.

6. Conduct

The community guidelines are part of these terms. In short: be yourself, respect consent, harass no one, sell nothing, keep other people's details private, and never involve anyone under 18. We may warn, restrict or remove an account for a breach, and we may report unlawful conduct to the authorities.

7. Our service and its limits

We work to keep My Beloved available, accurate and secure, and we do not guarantee that it will always be. To the fullest extent the law allows, My Beloved is provided as it is, without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between members on or off the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that the law gives you and does not let us restrict.

8. Ending the agreement

You can end it by deleting your account. We can end it, or suspend your access, for a breach of these terms, for conduct that puts other members at risk, or where the law requires. Sections 3, 5, 7 and 9 survive.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where My Beloved is operated, and any dispute will be brought in the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to something else.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When a change matters, we tell you inside the app or by email before it takes effect; continuing to use My Beloved after that is your agreement to the new terms. Questions go through the contact page.
